The Row Fay Flat Two Black

The Row Fay Flat Two Black

The Row fay flat black is a slip-on shoe built from Japanese wool with an oval toe, a leather bow, and fine leather piping. The upper is made from high-quality wool sourced from Japan, piece-dyed for uniform color saturation and finished to preserve the fiber’s natural softness while creating a clean, smooth surface with a balanced drape. An oval toe softens the front of the shape, while a leather bow sits at the vamp, adding a considered, refined detail distinct from the brand’s plainer leather slip-ons.

Fine leather piping traces the edges of the shoe, offering subtle contrast against the wool’s soft, matte texture. Beneath, a flexible rubber-coated sole keeps the shoe comfortable for everyday wear. Inside, the shoe is lined in a polyester and lambskin leather blend, offering a smooth, supportive layer against the foot. The wool exterior gives this style a softer, more textured character than the brand’s leather Fay Flat Two, with natural thermal regulation making it particularly suited to cooler months.

This considered use of piping and bow detailing gives the Fay Flat a slightly dressier, more ladylike read compared to the brand’s minimal slip-ons. Made in Italy, it pairs easily with tailored trousers, skirts, or dresses, offering a refined, comfortable option for both daytime and evening wear.
