Textured and handmade in feel, the Row soft loafer black takes the classic loafer shape and softens it with a natural pleating effect across the vamp.
The shoe is crafted from baby calfskin leather, vegetable-tanned to enhance the depth and richness of the black finish. Rather than a flat, uniform surface, the leather is worked into a soft pleating effect that gives the front of the shoe a gently textured, almost hand-molded look, setting it apart from more structured loafer styles. Inside, the shoe is fully lined in goatskin leather, adding a smooth, supportive layer against the foot.
Underneath, a hand-painted leather sole provides a low, comfortable heel while adding a detail of craftsmanship not often found on the underside of a shoe. The calfskin exterior receives a light wax finish after tanning, protecting the surface while preserving its natural depth and giving it a softly aged character over time.
