The pouch is made from lambskin leather with an exceptionally soft, supple hand and smooth surface, distinct from the duchesse satin version of this style. The natural leather is coated with a semi-aniline glaze then finished with a fine sanding technique, a multi-step process that provides added protection and durability while enhancing an inherent tactile quality and luminous sheen. An adjustable leather drawstring cinches the top closed, offering a flexible, casual way to secure the bag’s contents without a rigid clasp or zipper.
Turned-edge construction gives the seams a clean, finished look. Over time and with exposure to light, the leather will gradually darken, developing a rich patina unique to each piece. Because the nappa leather is soft and absorbent, extra care should be taken to avoid contact with solvents or liquids that may cause irreversible staining, and the pouch should be cleaned by gently wiping with a soft, damp cloth.
