The Row esteban top black is a draped boatneck top built from lustrous panne velvet with a loose fit, gathered shoulders and cuffs, and a silk chiffon lining. The top is made from a blend of viscose and silk fibers, finished with a technique in which the short pile fibers are machine-pressed in a single direction for a soft, supple hand and fluid drape along with an almost reflective surface that captures and reflects light beautifully. This pressing technique gives the panne velvet a distinctly lustrous, dimensional quality distinct from a flat, matte fabric. This style features a loose fit and oversized draped silhouette, offering a relaxed, fluid shape through the body.
Gathered shoulders and cuffs add soft, considered volume at these points, while a draped boatneck keeps the front open and elongating. Inside, the top is fully lined in silk chiffon, adding a smooth, lightweight layer against the body. Due to the natural characteristics of this fabric, only professional dry cleaning is recommended, and washing, tumble drying, and bleach should all be avoided, though the top may be ironed at a maximum temperature of 110°C if needed.
